E. EXTRA CREDIT explained

Extra Credit can be earned in a variety of ways:

1. Filled in sermon outlines from church and turn them into me = 10 extra credit points

2. Completed Word Searches/Crossword

puzzles (available in the class room) = 5

extra credit points

3. Completing “SKILLS REPRODUCIBLES” for

History = 5 extra credit points

4. Emailing the correct answer to me for

WEBSITE extra credit questions will be

worth various points and perhaps “crowns”

for History.

5. After a TEST or QUIZ is graded, if you

take it home, have Mom or Dad (or both)

sign it (that lets me know that they saw it)

and bring it back to me at school, I will give

you 5 points extra credit!

If you have other ideas, let me know and we

 can work something out!

BUT…… please be aware that EXTRA CREDIT

points DO NOT take the place of regular

classwork including tests and quizzes.

EXTRA CREDIT is typically kept in a seperate

category and is added into your grade up to

a MAXIMUM of 4 percentage points.  So if

you earned a 84% in regular work, a whole

bunch of extra credit will bring you up to an

88% at best.   If you are earning a C, extra

credit will NOT suddenly get you an A!
