Posted: 10/23/11:  Mr. Alexander has asked that we remind parents that kids need to be fever free and vomit free for 24 hours before returning to school.

Reading Counts titles now available to parents!  All the Reading Counts quiz information is now on the South Website!!  These titles will be updated 2 times a year and will be very helpful to Lexile your books and check if their are quizzes available for the books your child is reading.

 Birthday Donation Celebration!       10/11/10

by Dena Krepel,  South Media Center,  (616) 997-3116The Library Birthday Book Program is a way to give a lasting gift to your child’s school for a $5 or $10 donation.

 The birthday child selects a book from a number of new library books.  A special bookplate with the child’s name will be placed in the book and become part of the library collection.

 Your child’s picture and name will be added to the birthday board.  This is a great way to encourage reading and make a wonderful donation to our library.

 If you are interested in participating, please complete a birthday form , and return it with your check to your child’s teacher.  Happy reading!
