This Thursday is our first football game performance. The band will meet for a rehearsal from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. We will have a 45 minute break and then will get ready for the football game.
Students are to wear Kaki Shorts (half way to the knee) white socks and tennis shoes. Our band boosters will give tee-shirts to the band to wear at the game.
Students will need to have a lunch with them or parents can deliver food for students on their break.

I cannot get the drill charts to work on this site. (They are working on the problem) However, I have the entire show and pregame charts on the Coopersville Band site on Facebook. Just double click on the google docs, and you can view and print the pdf drill charts…
Band Camp will start this Monday and go thru Thursday next week. Camp will start at 8:00 a.m. and go to 3:00 p.m. each day.
Our first music rehearsal for our Marching Band will be this Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. till noon. Please note that our percussion and colorguard will follow their schedules for precamp with their coaches. This rehearsal is intended for our wind instruments only.

Thanks everyone for helping on such a long day on Monday! The only students needed for tonight are the students that had a Coldwater Band Uniform assigned to them. Their call time is 8:45 p.m.

Interested band members are to report at 1:30 p.m. (Monday) at the HS Band Room. Dress for a fall day in 1991. This will save the costume department much time. We will be filming with some of the stars of the movie

Still bring your black shoes for the evening shots. Could be another really long day. You might have to get supper shipped in for you on this one.

Thanks to everyone who worked on the movie today! You guys did a great job and I had a lot of fun hang’in out with everyone.
The next call time for the band will be Monday night, 8:00 p.m. August 16. This session will go to 12:30 in the morning. You will be given a black and gold band uniform to wear for the movie.
Hopefully the weather will cool down for us. Also, remember your instruments.
Again, keep checking back on this site incase there is anything extra to report.
Tuesday’s schedule will most likely be the same as Monday’s.
The Wednesday practice scene has been moved to TUESDAY MORNING. (8:00 a.m.) All interested band students that would like to be filmed as an extra will now meet Tuesday instead of Wednesday due to weather predictions. All interested band students will meet at the band room and then go up to the main football field by 8:00 a.m. (meet at band room by 7:45 a.m.) Dress as before and you are encouraged to bring water!! The film studio will supply lunch.
(Help get the word out! We will call all students that turned in forms but just incase, tell your friends.)

I have been informed that the Wednesday practice scene will be a day time scene. All interested band members will need to report to the high school band room at 8:00 a.m. This scene will be regular practice attire. No uniforms and no logos on the clothing. Keep in mind that the time period here is 1991. More info when I receive it.
Please understand there is no ending time given to me yet. It will be done when it is done. Thats how this stuff goes, so be flexible and have fun.
Keep checking this site for more info. For instance, I am told this time still could be adjusted so keep checking back so we do not have to make a zillion calls.
