Welcome to Middle School Bible

Have you ever hiked through a thick forest of towering trees? It’s a great adventure. You might climb a hill, cross a stream, or encounter wildlife. But if you have ever gotten lost in a woods and can’t find your way, the fun ends.

Some people read the Bible the same way rookie hikers stroll through strange woods. They don’t see the whole picture. They read the Bible as a collection of stories. They look at individual stories like a lost hiker looks at separate trees-unable to see the forest

In Bible at ACS we learn separate stories and see how they relate to each other as part of one story-the story of God and his people. The story began in the Garden of Eden, where God walked and talked with Adam and Eve until they sinned. The Bible shows God’s plan to restore his fallen people to a perfect relationship with him. In Revelations John describes a vision of a time when we will again be with God in a new, sin-free creation. The story of God’s people continues beyond Bible times to the present.

Bible class at ACS takes place 4 days a week.  The 6th graders study the Old Testamant through David.  The 7th graders study from Solomon through the end of the Old Testament.  The 8th graders study the New Testament.
