Wacky Web Tales
Similar to Mad Libs. Students create a story by choosing words. The computer uses these words to create a silly story. This is great for reviewing parts of speech.
Spelling City
Students can type in a list of spelling words or choose an appropriate grade level list. There are a variety of games to play using these words. Parents can also print off handwriting sheets for these words.
Starfall
Primarily designed for first grade, Starfall is also useful for pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and second grade. Students can practice letters, sounds, and reading. If they are unsure of a word, the computer will sound it out for them.
