Welcome to our first grade site!  My name is Jan Blauwkamp and I teach first grade.  It has been my privilege to be involved in Christian education for many, many years.  Over thirty-five of those have been at Moline Christian.  I’ve taught first, second, and third grades at various times, but my favorite is first grade.  I’ve been teaching that for quite some time now.  First graders are the most eager of learners and I have the joy of passing along my love of books and my passion for reading.  To see a child learn to read and to love to learn is most rewarding.
