Spelling: Each week your child will have spelling words to study for and a test each Friday.

Math:  Students need to practice their addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts when there is time.

Reading:  Read each night for 15 minutes.  They can read silently or outloud.

The students will be taking Lexile tests to improve their comprehension.  When they are checking out library books, one should be at their lexile level and one will be of their choice.

Social Studies and Science:  They students may have work to take home or tests to study for.  I will be teaching Michigan Geography and Michigan Government to all third grade students.  The third grade students will be rotating for science and social studies in the afternoons Monday through Thursday.  They may have tests or projects to complete for homework.

On Monday nights the students will get a math worksheet to do for homework.

On Tuesday nights  they will get a reading worksheet to do for homework.

**They rest of the week should be used for flashcards or spelling words.

If your child gets behind in their daily work, they may have to finish at home.
