About
Welcome back to the 2012 school year.My name is Cindy Cunningham and I am the American Government, Psychology and American History teacher at Coopersville High School. I have been teaching over 30 years. My first seven were out in Glenrock, Wyoming. I came to C.H.S in 1986 and have taught Government, Psychology, American History, Economics and Sociology and Introduction to teaching. I’ve been a class advisor( currently the Junior Class) and student council advisor in my years here, worked in the concession stand and spent lifetimes in the bleachers watching the Broncos.
I grew up in Sturgis and graduated from Central Michigan University. I furthered my education at the University of Wyoming, University of Northern Colorado and Marygrove. I have two unmarried sons. When not trying to figure out this computer, I love to read ( suspense & mysteries), garden ( not as good as I used to)and for the last 9years most of my time away from CHS has been on our sailboat. My husband and I have cruised most of Lake Michigan and I have crewed on race boats. I also love to travel. The big news from this summer is we have a new cairn terrier puppy.
Be patient with me on keeping this blog up. I would appreciate some feedback on the use of this. Be aware that on the homework pages are can be change due to circumstances. I believe it is the responsibility of the student to be aware of any changes. I will be asking for parent e mails to send out some occasional information.
Let’s make it a great year!
