Human Environment Interaction and Current Issues Project

You will be working in a group of two or three to complete a presentation about a major environmental issue and how humans are involved with it. As you have learned we constantly interact with our surroundings. Changing our behavior to fit the environment around us and modifying the environment to fit our behavior.

You will have the option to create a digital story, Impress Presentation, or poster (tri-fold) that will inform the class about your topic. Along with your presentation you need to come up with a handout that highlights some of the most important aspects of your presentation.

Presentation:
• Include 10-15 high resolution pictures
• Summarize your topic
o Make sure everyone has a basic understanding of what is going on
o Give specific examples
• Explain how human interaction has contributed to or helped with the issue at hand.
o Are we changing the environment? (Modification)
o Are we changing our behavior? (Adaptation)
• Possible solutions to the issues.
• Be able to answer several questions from the class about your topic.

Handout:
• Highlight your most important facts
• Give a site where more information can be found.
• What can be done to help solve these problems?
