My name is Jon Venlet, I am a Social Studies teacher at Coopersville Middle School in my 4th year in the district.  I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2006 with a BS in Social Studies for Secondary Education.

My wife, Leslie, is a teacher at East (soon to be South) Elementary.  We live in Ravenna where we recently bought a house.  We also have the coolest puppy ever, Bono the Irish Setter.

When I have free time I love mountian biking, running, coaching track and cross country, and watching sports.
